If you’re after a delicious wheat bread alternative then look no further!
This bread is amazing and I have seen some amazing seed breads out there, (Sarah does a great one) but I recently have been taking Maca powder with my morning smoothie and I wanted to incorporate this into my new bread alternative and its AMAZE!!!
This “bread” is so good toasted with a little avo smashed on top for breakfast
½ cup Linseed / flaxseed
¾ cup Sesame seeds
¾ cup Sunflower seeds
¾ cup Pumpkin seeds
½ cup Almonds, or other whole nuts like walnuts or hazelnuts
¼ cup Psyllium husk
2 Tbsp Chia seeds
2 Tbsp Olive oil
2 Tbsp Maca powder
2 tsp Salt flakes
3 large Eggs, free-range
½ cup Water
What you need to do
Heat your oven to 160C and line a loaf tin with baking paper.
Combine all your ingredients in a bowl and mix well until evenly combined.
Press the mix into the loaf tin and set aside for about 15-20 minutes to allow the chia seeds, linseeds and psyllium husk to absorb some of the moisture
Bake for 50 minutes.
Remove the bread from the baking paper and leave to cool before slicing.
